Tasting Notes: This wine is a lovely blend emphasizing the best characteristics of the above vineyards. The Baciglupi Vineyard offers very intense black fruits with an earthy, herbal undertone. Poplar/Ritchie is the veritable spice rack with loads of sandalwood, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg. Dutton Ranch pinot noir is flush with the red fruits; Queen Anne cherries, cranberry, gooseberry, and red currant. The wine from E Block completes this blend with aromatic and palate teasers of coffee, tobacco, and Marionberry. A touch of vanilla laced French oak rounds out this offering.
