Tasting Notes: I tasted this wine out of magnum in May 2002. I was really quite happy at the way it had handled the 6 years in the bottle. Some light orange hue around the edges, but the wine still had grip, fruit and guts. Fruit flavors were of ripe red raspberry, red whip licorice, and baked apples. Bouquet was spicy and tangy and still fresh.

  Alcohol:   13.8% by volume
  TA:   0.52 g/100mL
  pH:   3.81
  Production:   480 cases of 12

Aging Notes: Based on my tasting in May I think this wine could hang on a bit longer but remember I tasted from a magnum. Probably time to drink this up……
